FEI brings an understanding and appreciation - particularly of the environmental,
social, and economic potential of trees, woodlands and forest - to young
people. Whether in their homes, schools or in their colleges. We encourage
all people to use trees, timber and the forest environment for learning,
gaining skills within their natural environment.
What does it do?
The practical work of FEI is achieved through local
groups, through teaching packs about forestry, developing woodland
settings in school ground, theatre productions and the Wood Tour Bus amongst
National partners and Executive Committee
Forest Education Initiative spans Great Britain and benefits from the
expertise and resources of its 8 national partners as well as support
from its Executive Committee.
Whatever your background we would like to hear from you. You can contribute
as much or as little time to FEI as you wish. FEI Cluster Groups do
range of work and we would value your help.
